The Elpiniki Villas complex is a family run hospitality business consisting of two uniquely designed holiday residences, situated in two of the most beautiful islands of Greece, Rhodes and Tilos. Both residences of the complex were renovated by our own architectural firm, Vassilara & Associates, in 2017 (Villa Elpiniki in Rhodes) and 2009 (Villa Elpiniki in Tilos), while still retaining the traditional elements that make them stand out.

"Monolithic design that guarantees absolute serenity"

Villa Elpiniki in Rhodes is a simple yet modern residence of 90m2 divided into two buildings. The first and main building features a spacious bedroom with 2 single beds, a bathroom with a bathtub and a living room with an open plan kitchen/dining area, while the second houses the master bedroom and an additional bathroom with a shower. This lovely villa is surrounded by a lush Mediterranean garden full of local herbs and fresh fruit for all guests to enjoy.
In addition, the property includes a well and a private swimming pool, protected by a pergola with sun loungers and chairs for the ultimate relaxation of our guests! For those who truly wish to witness a stunning view of the sea or the starry sky, the terrace – which is connected to the house by an external staircase – is also available and equipped with comfortable beanbag chairs. Furthermore, it is worth noting that the exterior of the house is separated by a carefully placed perforated white concrete wall, which offers greater privacy as well as protection from the morning sun. The entire space is characterized by a minimal aesthetic, while the dominant colors of white and gray offer a maximized sense of serenity, along with the multitude of glass surfaces that allow for plenty of natural light and an unobstructed view of the sea. In short, this magnificent villa is the perfect place for families and anyone looking for a relaxing retreat!

Villa Elpiniki in Tilos

"The allure of traditional stone design"

The traditional two-storey residence of 72m2 Villa Elpiniki in Tilos is divided into 3 levels. On the ground floor, you can find the impressive double entrance door, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom. One meter lower, there is the first bedroom with two single beds, while on the first floor – which is accessible via a built-in internal staircase – stands the master bedroom with a double bed, as well as a spacious 30m2 veranda with 360o views of the island’s most significant attractions.
The veranda features a wooden dining table with umbrella, chairs, beanbag chairs and built-in seats, so that guests can enjoy the breathtaking view and the starry sky in the evening, along with their meal or drink. This stone-built residence is beautifully clad in earthy colors, true to the character of the island, while even after its restoration it retains its original lines and raw materials, offering a unique combination of tradition and contemporary comfort. Although the first floor bedroom is equipped with air conditioning and the ground floor bedroom with a ceiling fan, visitors will notice that the house maintains a consistently pleasant temperature throughout the year, which is due to the emphasis placed on its bioclimatic design, as well as the multitude of windows that allow natural light to enter, while at the same time providing a sense of liberty. Villa Elpiniki in Tilos is undoubtedly a peaceful haven, suitable for families, couples and nature or history lovers!

Villa Elpiniki on the island of Rhodes is located in a charming old Rhodian neighborhood full of traditional stone houses, which over the last 30 years has evolved into one of the island’s top tourist destinations, offering a combination of tranquil natural environment and vibrant activity. More specifically, Villa Elpiniki is just a 5-minute walk from a peaceful free beach, 7 km by car from the port and the center of the island and 4 km by car from the airport of Rhodes. . Guests can access the property by car or by bus from the center, via a 10-minute ride to the “Pappou” bus stop.

Villa Elpiniki in Tilos is located within the traditional settlement of “Megalo Chorio”, the amazing archaeological history of which dates all the way back to the 4th century BC. The residence is located in front of a pedestrian street and is 7 km by car from the port of the island, while it is also accessible by bus starting from the port and reaching the bus stop “Megalo Chorio”. The port brings together various restaurants, tavernas, cafes, bars and tourist shops, although guests can find a supermarket, a restaurant and a traditional café within walking distance of the property.

The Elpiniki Villas complex is a family run hospitality business consisting of two uniquely designed holiday residences, situated in two of the most beautiful islands of Greece, Rhodes and Tilos. Both residences of the complex were renovated by our own architectural firm, Vassilara & Associates, in 2017 (Villa Elpiniki in Rhodes) and 2009 (Villa Elpiniki in Tilos), while still retaining the traditional elements that make them stand out.
Our vision from the beginning was to create properties that offer a home-like feel and an authentic, local experience to all guests, without of course lacking in contemporary comforts and amenities. Our family’s long background both in the field of construction/renovation and in the field of hospitality, as well as our descent from these two magnificent islands, have been strong allies in this vision, which is now a reality!
Currently, Villa Epliniki in Rhodes and Villa Elpiniki in Tilos are excellent choices for couples, families and all those who wish to enjoy a comfortable stay in a majestic, natural environment, which remains true to the philosophy of each island. However, right next to the villa there is also a taxi rank that operates 24 hours a day. In addition, in front of the residence there is a fenced agricultural field, which belongs to the Rhodian community, ensuring unobstructed sea views and a unique lush green environment, which very few houses in the area enjoy. Within a short walking distance (5 minutes) one can find 2 big super markets for every possible need as well as a bakery. At the same time, in the centre of Rhodes and in the port, a large number of restaurants, cafes, bars and tourist shops are available to all visitors.
Adrenaline lovers will also be pleased to know that the residence is located on the side of the island that is suitable for surfing, kite surfing and many other water sports. While for those who wish to embark on an excursion discovering more of the island’s fascinating history, Filerimos and the Ancient Acropolis are both just 1 km away.

Within 2 km is Eristos Beach, where there are restaurants and a canteen, while within 3 km visitors can reach clubs and discos for their late-night entertainment. The area is of great archaeological interest, as is the whole island, making it ideal for hikers and history enthusiasts. In fact, at a distance of 1 km, guests have the option to visit the Paleontological Museum of the island and take a trip back in time to the Pleistocene period, when the island was inhabited by dwarf elephants, but also get a lot more information about the history of the land.
The area features a number of paths leading to deserted beaches and small Byzantine temples scattered around the countryside. In general, Tilos boasts nineteen beaches, twelve mountains with flowing natural springs, seven medieval castles, a Byzantine monastery, two hundred churches, a cave with many excavations, a village of cultural heritage and a rich flora and fauna. Its secrets are definitely worth discovering and Villa Elpiniki is undoubtedly the best starting point.
